We are looking for a Technical Expert – Grid Identification Systems (Electrical & Mechanical) (m/f/d) to take responsibility for the development and implementation of standardized identification systems across complex electrical and mechanical infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Grid Identification System (GIS/NKS) for electrical and mechanical assets in accordance with applicable standards (e.g. DIN EN IEC 81346 and related guidelines)
- Consulting and supporting internal departments (project engineering, operations, asset management, maintenance) on the correct and consistent identification of assets and components in both electrical and mechanical domains
- Contribution to the development and continuous improvement of technical standards and guidelines for system identification across disciplines
- Coordination and management of external service providers and partners involved in the implementation of identification requirements
- Ensuring quality, consistency, and completeness when integrating the identification system into technical documentation and databases
- Development and delivery of training sessions and workshops for internal and external stakeholders on grid identification systems
- Support of cross-functional projects, particularly those aimed at harmonizing the identification of electrical and mechanical assets
- Introduction, implementation, and support of tools used for documentation and management of identification systems (e.g. Engineering Base, Ruplan), including user support related to correct electrical and mechanical labeling
Your Profile
- Completed degree in electrical engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- Initial experience in the identification and documentation of technical systems, covering both electrical and mechanical assets
- Familiarity with relevant standards and norms for technical identification systems (e.g. DIN EN IEC 81346)
- Experience working with technical documentation and engineering tools
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and work effectively across disciplines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, combined with a structured and process-oriented working style
- Very good German skills (minimum C1 level) and good English skills (minimum B2 level)
