An Environment Built for Acceleration

At 10HOCH3 energy solutions, we´re usually deep in the world of offshore wind, HVDC platforms, operations, service strategies and making sure everything runs smoothly at sea. But it was always clear since the beginning that we need to explore how digital tools and data could support our work. We realized that we needed a different kind of environment to grow that idea. Thats how we ended up at the AI Startup Hub.

To be honest, we didn´t know exactly what to expect. What we found was a program that gave us way more than just startup coaching or tech talk.

Not Just Learning - Rethinking

Right from the start, the sessions got us to ask the hard questions:

• What´s the real problem we´re trying to solve?
• Who needs it most?
• How would they actually use it?

We came in with a rough idea of how AI and digital tools could support offshore asset operations. We left with a clearer sense of what´s useful, what´s realistic and what just sounds good on paper. We also had space to test ideas, get feedback and adjust quickly. The mentors didn´t hand out generic advice - they really took the time to understand our background and our goals. That made all the difference.

Real People, Real Connections

One of the best parts of the whole programm? The other startups. Everyone was working on something different - from health and skincare to logistics - but we all shared the same ups and downs of building something new. Admitted, us being a bootstrapped company and having "real work" to do on the side did not make things easier. But i sharpened our ability to prioritize, focus on the right topics and being more efficient in what we are doing in general. This and the ongoing exchange on how to solve problems with the other startups was making the difference.

The experience was genuinely erweiternd - not just professionally, but personally. It helped us get out of our own bubble, see things from new angles and focus on what really matters: building tools that help the industry work smarter, not harder.

We´re still 100% grounded in the energy world but now, with a better understanding of how we can add digital layers to our expertise in a meaningful way. For us, this experience laid the foundation for one of our newest endeavours: 10HOCH3 innovation - where we turn ideas into digital tools that support smarter, safer and more efficient offshore operations.
